Despite facing skepticism from those familiar with the Web video industry, NBC Universal’s and News Corp.’s Hulu.com is considered the Web site of the year, the Associated Press reports. According to recent comScore numbers, the site logged 24 million unique visitors during the month of October, enough to rank sixth among all Web video sites, the news service says. Hulu predicts its ad revenue could match that of YouTube’s by the end of 2009, the AP says.
