‘Deal’ Posts Season-to-Date Highs in Syndication

Freshman first-run syndication game show “Deal or No Deal” has crossed the 2.0 benchmark for live-plus-same-day household rating, Broadcasting & Cable reports. The show crossed the mark for the week ending Jan. 18, posting a 5% gain from the previous week and reaching a series-to-date high, the trade says. Several talk shows also posted gains for the week, but not “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” which dropped 15% from the previous week to post a 4.7 in the demographic, B&C says.
