Delaying the switchover to digital-only broadcasting is a break for the big broadcast networks, which already have fewer people watching them this season, the Associated Press reports. Doing the transition in June, when the networks are in re-runs would cost fewer viewers, plus more households are expected to be ready to receive in digital by then, the paper says.
