This year’s American Association of Advertising Agencies’ conference, set for this week in New Orleans, is expected to have a more serious tone as the economy continues to be troubled, TVNewsday says. AAAA President-CEO Nancy Hill said attendance is expected to be about half what it was last year (at 1,300 participants), according to the site. Hill also said advertisers are seeking not only alternative forms of measuring audience engagement, but ways to create revenue during these “unpredictable” times, TVNewsday says.
