Robert B. Clasen, the chairman and chief executive of Starz, said he’ll retire at the end of the year, Variety reports.

Clasen, an industry veteran who has been in the cable business for 40 years, has been with Starz since 2003 and is credited with increasing its subscribers, cash flow and original programming.
