ABC News Has Four Months to Reinvent ‘Good Morning America’

Diane Sawyer’s move to ABC’s “World News” leaves a big hole at “Good Morning America,” and several staff members told the New York Times that they expect major changes, including a number of anchor shifts, at the morning show.

ABC has just four months to figure out the moves before Charlie Gibson steps down in the evenings. The industry guessing game about possible Sawyer replacements runs from ABC’s own Kate Snow and Elizabeth Vargas, to CNN’s Campbell Brown and Fox Business Network’s Alexis Glick.

  1. Better idea…leave the hosting to Chris Cuomo and Robin Roberts, keep Sam and bring in Kate Snow. Then that way, you’re just looking for someone to cover weekends.

  2. I`D LIKE TO SEE ELIZABETH VARGAS ON GMA. SHE`D MAKE A GREAT HOST.
