The new National Geographic channel, Nat Geo WILD, launches on Monday, March 29, and the premiere lineup will serve up monkeys, giraffes, man and bear.

The network plans to use new technologies to give viewers an eye into the natural world never seen before.

The first shows include "Rebel Monkeys," a show set in Jaipur, India, in which a gang of monkeys overtake the Galta Temple, much to the tourists’ dismay. Also included in the launch are "Africa’s Lost Eden," which follows the Gorongosa Wildlife Park in Mozambique as conservationists attempt to restore the broken ecosystem, and "Mystery Gorillas with Mireya Mayor," starring explorer Mireya Mayor, who tries to get as closes as possible to gorillas in the Congo.
