Panelist From ‘The View’ Lands Spot on Scripted Show

One of the hosts of “The View” has lined up a role on a “Hot” cable show, TV Guide reports.

The show is TV Land’s “Hot in Cleveland,” where “The View’s” Sherri Shepherd will play the judge who will determine whether or not Betty White’s character, Elka, is competent to stand trial for theft, according to the story.

Shepherd will appear on the sitcom after it returns with new shows on Jan. 19. Shepherd will be on "Hot In Cleveland" in February when Elka’s trial begins.
