‘Mike & Molly’ Ranks as Top New Show in Viewer Engagement

CBS’s "Mike & Molly" came out on top among new fall shows in Nielsen’s viewer engagement ratings, according to The Hollywood Reporter’s Live Feed blog.

That "Mike & Molly" was trailed by "Raising Hope" and "Running Wilde" suggests new comedies may be showing better engagement than dramas, the report says, pointing out, "if that’s the case, CBS’s ‘$#*! My Dad Says’ is notably absent."

Engagement ratings measure how much information a viewer recalls from a show, something that’s important to advertisers, who want to reach viewers who are paying close attention, THR says.

  1. Zune and iPod: Most people compare the Zune to the Touch, but after seeing how slim and surprisingly small and light it is, I consider it to be a rather unique hybrid that combines qualities of both the Touch and the Nano. It’s very colorful and lovely OLED screen is slightly smaller than the touch screen, but the player itself feels quite a bit smaller and lighter. It weighs about 2/3 as much, and is noticeably smaller in width and height, while being just a hair thicker.
