Time Magazine, in naming Facebook founder its 2010 Person of the Year said it picked him "For connecting more than half a billion people and mapping the social relations among them; for creating a new system of exchanging information; and for changing how we all live our lives."
At 26 years old, he is the second youngest recipient of the Time honor. The youngest was Charles Lindbergh, who was 25 when he received the designation in 1927.
It’s been quite a year for Zuckerberg. Besides the huge success that is Facebook, he was unflatteringly portrayed in the movie "Social Network," which many film critics say will be a contender for the Academy Award for Best Picture of the year.
