‘Dr Oz’ Sold in Seven More International Territories

Sony Pictures Television has sold "The Dr. Oz Show" to seven countries in Asia Pacific, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The health-oriented talk show will be broadcast on free-to-air networks including Seven Network in Australia, TV3 in New Zealand, Brunei’s RTB2, Malaysia’s Hijrah TV, Indonesia’s B Channel, and Thailand’s TPBS starting this month and in early 2011. Pay channels Foxtel’s W Channel in Australia, and Korea’s ELLE atTV had also licensed the show.

The show had been already picked up in Croatia, Portugal, Moldova and Latin America, while its format had been adapted in China, Russia and Turkey.
