CNN’s John Roberts Moving to Fox News

Former CBS anchor John Roberts, who had been rumored to be staying with CNN and moving to Atlanta, has decided to accept an offer from Fox News instead, reports TVNewser.

Fox News Senior VP Michael Clemente made it official, according to the story. “We are excited to welcome John to Fox News,” Clemente said. “His reputation as a skilled journalist with years of notable experience in the field will be a valuable addition to our news programming.”

Roberts, who spent 14 years with CBS News and more recently anchored CNN’s “American Morning,” will be Fox News’ senior national correspondent based in Atlanta, reporting on major domestic and international stories for the network.
