Cinemax announced that its first-ever prime-time drama series is coming back for a second season, Deadline.com reports.
Season two of “Strike Back” will consist of 10 new episodes. Shooting will reportedly begin early next year in South Africa, with the season set to air in 2012.
Season one, which is still airing, tells the story of a dynamic U.S. special forces agent who teams up with a UK military espionage unit. "Strike Back" stars Sullivan Stapleton and Philip Winchester. The first-season finale is set to premiere Oct. 21 on Cinemax.
Cinemax has declined to talk about the cast for season two “due to plot spoilers in upcoming episodes,” Deadline.com reports.
