A reality show participant is suing Ryan Seacrest and Bravo, claiming she was humiliated during the taping of a new reality show called "Shahs of Sunset," according to The Hollywood Reporter’s Hollywood, Esq. blog.

Kathy Salem filed suit Thursday, with the goal of trying to stop Bravo from airing scenes that feature her, the piece says. The show follows wealthy Persian young people in Los Angeles’ West Side.

Salem claims she wasn’t told of nor shown a full release granting broad rights, but signed a one-page cover sheet of the release before entering a party that was filmed for the show, the story says.

“What developed was a bullying session wherein [the cast members] became verbally abusive to plaintiff and addressed her in an obscene manner,” according to the complaint. “Then, after the verbal abuse, someone tried to strip plaintiff’s top off and another cast member by the name of Reza threw a cup of water in plaintiff’s face.”

Seacrest’s representatives declined to comment, while Bravo didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment, the piece says. The show is set to premiere in February 2012.
