"Jersey Shore" star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi is suing to end her partnership with SRG Ventures, which signed the MTV reality star in a licensing deal to put her name on a wide range of consumer products, reports the New York Post’s Page Six.

Snooki’s attorneys claim SRG "failed to secure" royalty guarantees of at least $250,000, as well as a license from a retailer worth another $250,000, according to the story.

SRG is countering that it did hit the performance benchmarks and claims that Polizzi was too occupied with other obligations to properly manage the deal, the story says. SRG has worked with other brands including the U.S. Olympic Team and Marilyn Monroe.

A representative for Polizzi said the lawsuit is a "business dispute" and declined to comment, while an attorney for SRG said the company hopes for an "amicable resolution," according to the piece.
