CBS’s tweak of its morning lineup continues with a new name and new co-host for the network’s Saturday morning show, TVNewser.com reports.

Rebecca Jarvis, who has been the substitute news anchor for the past year on "The Early Show on Saturday," will be the co-host of "CBS This Morning: Saturday," the official new name for the Saturday show, the story reports.

Jarvis will also continue as business reporter for CBS and will contribute to the Monday-Friday "CBS This Morning" broadcast.

Until there’s a full-time replacement for departing co-host Russ Mitchell, CBS will give Jarvis rotating partners. Mitchell starts Monday at his new anchor job at WKYC-TV in Cleveland.

  1. Was there something wrong with “CBS This Saturday Morning”? Flows a little more natural off the tongue.
    Just sayin’…

  2. Love your morning shows weekdays snd Sat morning. John miller provides incredible insight that no other network offers. Love Charlie, Nora, Gayle, Abdrew and yes, Scott Pelly , too.
That said, please investigate the origin of the guns the marathon bombers had and used (not just the explosives).
