A longtime sports broadcaster, who won an Emmy for an essay on the bombing at Olympic Park during the 1996 Atlanta Games, has died, Bloomberg reports. Jim Huber, 67, died Monday in Atlanta.

Huber joined Turner Sports full time in 2000 and worked as an announcer for golf and basketball events. Previously he was an anchor and reporter with CNN/Sports Illustrated. He hosted CNN’s “Pro Golf Weekly” and “Sporting Life with Jim Huber,” the story reports.

He spent a total of 27 years with Turner Broadcasting. David Levy, a Turner president of sales, distribution and sports, said in a statement, "The Turner Broadcasting family suffered a great loss, and we are saddened by the passing of our colleague and friend."
