‘Matrix’ Actress Tackles Lead Role in CBS Drama Pilot

An actress known for her role in the “Matrix” feature films will play the female lead in an upcoming CBS drama pilot, Deadline.com reports.

Carrie-Anne Moss joins the untitled Ralph Lamb project, written by "Goodfellas" writer Nicholas Pileggi and Greg Walker. The show is set in the 1960s and stars Dennis Quaid as Ralph Lamb, a former rodeo cowboy who becomes the sheriff of Las Vegas, the story notes.

Moss will play Assistant D.A. Katherine O’Connell, the daughter of a rancher, who grew up as a neighbor to the Lamb family, the story notes.
