20th Century Fox TV has signed a two-year pact with "House" executive producers Garrett Lerner and Russel Friend, reports Deadline.com.
Under the pact, the pair will develop new shows while also working on existing programs, the piece notes.
The deal marks their return to 20th TV, where they had previously worked on shows including "Roswell" and "Boston Public" before shifting to NBCUniversal, the producer of "House," the story says.
"They’re very versatile, strong writers who spent a great deal of time focusing on writing and producing one of the best shows on television,” said 20th TV Chairman Dana Walden, who noted she had pursued the pair after their NBCUniversal deal was up the first time. The pair ended up re-signing with NBCUniversal because of "House," the story says.
