‘Community’ Creator Apologizes in Nasty Clash With Chevy Chase

"Community" creator Dan Harmon posted an apology on his blog for making the "horrible, childish, self-obsessed, unaware, naive and unprofessional decision to play someone’s voicemail to me," reports Deadline.com.

That voicemail was from "Community" co-star Chevy Chase, who was upset with Harmon for reportedly encouraging the show’s crew to join him in telling Chase "fuck you" at a wrap party, as previously reported.

"I was airing my dirty laundry for a chuckle. I ask people at those shows repeatedly to please think twice about youtubing clips of it because it doesn’t play well outside the back of a comic book store," Harmon wrote, according to Deadline.com.

Addressing the criticism that he’s received for playing the voicemail, Harmon wrote, "I’m explaining that you’re right, I’m a bonehead, and it sucks, it blows up in my face on a regular basis." He added, "Thirty people a day calling me an asshole makes me know and feel, in my heart, that I am an asshole. I’m a real ‘customer is always right’ kind of guy in that regard."
