‘CSI’ Co-Showrunner Inks New Pact With CBS TV Studios

An executive producer and co-showrunner of “CSI” has inked a new three-year overall deal with CBS TV Studios, Deadline.com reports.

Don McGill’s new agreement has him staying on with the hit drama show, which is produced by CBS TV Studios. The series has been renewed for a 13th season, the report notes.

McGill and executive producer Carol Mendelsohn are co-showrunners on the series, which has seen Ted Danson and Elisabeth Shue installed as the new leads in recent seasons.

McGill was a writer on “JAG” and co-created the “JAG” spinoff “NCIS.”
