Fox has ordered a new reality show from the producer of "American Idol" and "The X Factor," reports EW.com’s Inside TV. A host for the dating show, "Take Me Out," hasn’t yet been announced, the story reports.
The program, which is based on a U.K. format, is produced by FremantleMedia North America. The dating show introduces a man to 30 women, who take the initiative in the early rounds, keeping a light on if they’re interested. The women who aren’t interested move on to vie for another bachelor.
The show is set to premiere on Fox June 7. Jeff Apploff is the executive producer.
