NBC has pulled a series off its prime-time schedule, TVLine.com reports. The series, which has aired just four episodes, is the midseason comedy “Best Friends Forever.”

Series star and executive producer Lennon Parham wrote on Twitter on Friday, "BFF Fans: Wanted to let you know that our show is being taken off the air until the summer," adding that she hoped the show’s fifth and sixth episodes would be posted online, according to the article.

The show, which starred Parham and Jessica St. Clair as friends who reunite as roommates in Brooklyn, drew 3.9 million total viewers and a 1.2 rating in the 18-49 demo on its April 4 premiere, but that had dwindled to 2.65 million total viewers and a 0.8 demo rating for last week’s episode, the story notes.

The show will be replaced with a second airing of "Betty White’s Off Their Rockers" in the Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. time period.

  1. There have been too many attempts to recreate a new Seinfeld or Friends and this was the worst. It was more like a half hour drama. I like Betty White and her show isn’t ROFLMAO, but does at least bring a chuckle or two. Hard to beat Modern Family, Big Bang Theory, Rules of Engagement, Cougar Town and, perhaps, a couple of other ones.

  2. I just don’t understand that NBC they never learn they keep doing the same thing over and over again!! when will they open their eyes its NOT working!! need a whole new team of workers or something!!they are just nuts or what??
