Popular iPhone Game to Become TV Show

A popular mobile game is slated to become a television show later this year, reports the New York Post. The game is "Angry Birds."

The animated program will consist of 52 episodes running two and a half to three minutes each, the piece adds. The show will air on TV as well as on mobile devices including iPhones and iPads.

Said Nick Dorra, head of animation for game developer Rovio: “We’re looking at building a video app for that, and we’re also looking at partnerships and so on. We want to be on all screens.”

The story doesn’t say which network will air the show.
