Three new cast members have been added to Bravo’s "The Real Housewives of New York City," filling out the lineup after the departures of Cindy Barshop, Alex McCord, Jill Zarin and Kelly Bensimon, US Magazine reports.
The new cast members are Aviva Drescher, Carole Radziwill and Heather Thomson. The three new women were officially announced Wednesday, although they had all been rumored for months to be in line for the cast.
They will join a cast that still includes Sonja Morgan, Ramona Singer and LuAnn de Lesseps.
Carole Radziwill is connected to the Kennedys by marriage. She’s the widow of the late Prince Anthony Radziwill, the only son of Lee Radziwill, who was Jackie Kennedy’s sister.
Aviva Drescher is married to comedian Fran Drescher’s ("The Nanny") cousin Reid Drescher. Heather Thomson is the fashion designer behind the Yummie Tummie shapewear line.
