‘Pushing Daisies’ Star, Emmy Nominee Join ‘The Good Wife’

"Pushing Daisies" star Kristin Chenoweth, who is also known for her Broadway roles, has been added to the CBS drama "The Good Wife" in a recurring role, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Additionally, Emmy nominee Nathan Lane, also known for his stage work, has been added to the show, also in a recurring role, reports TVLine.com.

Chenoweth, who most recently starred in the canceled ABC drama "GCB," will portray a political reporter who tries to dig up dirt on Alicia, played by Julianna Margulies, and Peter Florrick, played by Chris Noth, the story says.

Details on Lane’s character weren’t immediately available, according to TVLine. Lane has appeared on "Modern Family" as Pepper Saltzman and as Jack Donaghy’s brother Eddie on "30 Rock."
