Emmy-winning favorite Jeremy Piven has landed a new drama that’s neither on pay TV nor commercial TV.

He will be seen next on PBS.

Masterpiece/WGBH and ITV Studios announced that a period drama starring the “Entourage” regular has been picked up by PBS to air as part of "Masterpiece’s" 2013 season, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The project, "Mr. Selfridge," stars Piven, who won three Emmys playing high-anxiety Hollywood agent Ari Gold on HBO’s “Entourage.”

Piven will appear as the title character in the period piece, the story of American visionary Harry Gordon Selfridge, who founded the London department store Selfridges.

"Masterpiece" executive producer Rebecca Eaton said: “Adding Jeremy Piven to our legendary list of ‘Masterpiece’ actors is a real treat. ‘Mr. Selfridge’ has all the qualities viewers expect from our programs — a riveting story, fabulous production values, a first-rate cast, and now … shopping!”

Andrew Davies created the drama, with Kate Lewis executive producing.
