The new TV series incarnation of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" is set to premiere on Nickelodeon on Saturday, Sept. 19, at 11 a.m. with two back-to-back episodes, reports Entertainment Weekly.

The network was expected to make the premiere date official on Saturday.

Nickelodeon has 26 new episodes on tap about the four martial arts-expert turtles who rise from the sewers: Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo and Donatello.

According to publicity from the network, this version of the "Turtles" is “funnier and with more Ninjutsu than ever before; the show will explore the companionship of four teenage brothers learning to rely on themselves and one another as they unravel the mystery of their existence and grow to become the heroes in a half-shell that they are destined to be.”

They’ll be voiced by Jason Biggs, Sean Astin, Greg Cipes and Rob Paulsen. Paulsen, who was the voice of Raphael in the 1980s and 1990s animated series, will be Donatello this time around.
