"Immortals" writers Charley and Vlas Parlapanides have sold a faith-based drama to CBS, according to The Hollywood Reporter’s Live Feed.
The drama is about a Marine who, during an almost fatal accident, pledges to God that he will atone for the deaths he has brought about if he can safely return to his family, the story notes. Called "The Centurion," the project features the Marine working with the angel of his best friend, who died in the accident, the story says.
The brothers will write and executive produce the project for ABC Studios. "Revenge" consulting producer Bob Sertner and "Fast & Furious" writer Chris Morgan will also produce, the story says.
