One of HBO’s big stars is poised to make a huge figure for a book she’s planning to write, Deadline.com reports. Lena Dunham, the star of HBO’s "Girls," has been circulating a proposal for "Not That Kind of Girl," and the price tag reportedly reached $3.6 million yesterday.
The book will be penned by Dunham, 26, and will present a collection of anecdotes along with advice to women. Based on her work on the television show, publishers have determined that Dunham is a strong creative voice for women and could be influential in particular to young readers.
A deal for the book is expected to be finalized soon, the story reports.
