The family featured in "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" received an unsolicited raise from TLC after the show scored well in the ratings, reports TMZ.com.

The family had received between $5,000 and $7,000 an episode for the series, but TLC has bumped it to between $15,000 and $20,000, according to the report. Network executives told the family about the bump after the show’s second episode, the story notes.

TLC has also offered to pay for some expenses, such as a driver/bodyguard for the family’s father, who was recently hurt in an ATV accident, the piece adds.
