Mariah Carey has added to her personal security after an altercation with fellow "American Idol" judge Nicki Minaj, who threatened her at an audition, reports the New York Post.
As previously reported, Minaj allegedly said she would knock Carey out, a comment that was made before a tape of the incident started rolling. The tape later circulated online.
On "The View" on Thursday, Barbara Walters said she had talked with Carey, who claimed Minaj threatened to shoot her while walking off the set, the Post notes. Walters said Carey was very concerned.
Later Thursday, Minaj took to Twitter to mock Carey, posting: “I guess it hurts 2 have the producers tell u to ur face that Nicki is the best judge we’ve had since simon. Awww, poor u. Keep them lies [coming].”
In a series of tweets, Minaj implied that Carey had had lied to Walters about the shooting threat, the report notes.
