A well-known rap artist has been added to the freshman ABC drama "Nashville," according to The Hollywood Reporter’s Live Feed. Wyclef Jean is slated for a multi-episode role on the show, the story reports.
The show is set in the world of country music, with Connie Britton playing an aging country music superstar who is teamed with a young starlet, played by Hayden Panettiere.
Jean will portray the head of a music label, the story adds. He has appeared recently on “Third Watch” and has done soundtrack work on “Glee” and “30 Rock.”
