Two of the stars of the long-running hit NBC sitcom "Cheers" are reuniting in TV Land, where they will be a part of the pilot "Giant Baby," reports the New York Post.
The stars are actresses Kirstie Alley and Rhea Perlman. Alley will play Maddie Banks, a Broadway star whose long-lost son returns after his adoptive mother dies, the story notes. Perlman will portray Maddie’s assistant and best friend. The actresses co-starred on "Cheers" for six seasons.
"Giant Baby" is written by Marco Pennette, who produced NBC’s recently canceled comedy "Animal Practice."
