A series that has been on the air for 10 years — and is credited with launching a genre — has come to the end of its run, B&C reports.
The show is "American Chopper," which started the genre of family docu-soap reality shows, the piece reports. The show followed Paul "Senior" Teutul and his son Paul "Junior" Teutul as they built motorcycles and got into fights at Orange County Choppers.
The show was canceled once before, when in 2010 it was pulled by TLC. The network later revived the series, and halfway through that season it moved back to Discovery, where it first aired, the story notes.
"Chopper" will end its run with a special called "Chopper Live: The Revenge," which will air Dec. 11 at 9 p.m.
