"Wilfred" has been renewed for a third season by FX, although the network will replace showrunner David Zuckerman with writers and executive producers Reed Agnew and Eli Jorne, according to The Hollywood Reporter’s Live Feed.

Agnew and Jorne worked as writers on the show’s first two seasons, and Zuckerman will continue as an executive producer but hand over the day-to-day role to the pair, the story adds.

The comedy has averaged a 1.1 rating in adults 18-49, with its median viewer age at about 36 years old, the story adds.
