The long-awaited "Battlestar Galactica" prequel will be rolled out Friday, with the film airing as 10 short episodes on Machinima’s YouTube channel, reports EW.com’s Inside TV.
The first episode will be released Friday, Nov. 9, with the subsequent installments rolled out over the following four weeks. Syfy will then air the two-hour version of "Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome" in early 2013, followed by an unrated version on home video.
"Blood and Chrome" was first developed as a series for Syfy after the end of its critically acclaimed "Battlestar Galactica" reboot, the piece adds. The project tracks the young William Adama during the first Cylon War.
