Kelsey Grammer’s Grammnet Productions has sold a young-adult drama to MTV, based on a novel called "Blackwood," reports Deadline.com.

The book, which was published in September by Angry Robot Books, is about a 19-year-old who investigates a mass disappearance that included her father. The book is by Gwenda Bond, while DC Comic book and television writer Peter Calloway will write the adaptation.

MTV has put the project in development, with Calloway executive producing with Grammer and Grammnet’s Stella Bulochnikov and Brian Sher, the story notes.
