NBC has expanded the season order for a sitcom that is set for its season premiere in a few days, Deadline.com reports. The show is the multicamera comedy “Whitney,” which is set to debut for season two on Wednesday, Nov. 14.
The network added five scripts to its original order for 13 episodes for the new season of the show, which is centered on comedian Whitney Cummings.
The move follows the decision announced last month to bring "Whitney" back in a better time slot, moving it from its scheduled Friday spot at 8 p.m. to Wednesdays at 8 p.m.
The show will be paired with the rookie sitcom "Guys With Kids" when it bows next week.
