Lindsay Lohan will have her probation revoked by a judge after she’s charged with the criminal offense of lying to a police officer, reports TMZ.com. The criminal case is expected to be filed soon.

As previously reported, Lohan allegedly told police she wasn’t driving a Porsche last summer when it collided with an 18-wheeler, while multiple witnesses said she was.

After the Santa Monica City Attorney files the criminal charge against Lohan, the case will go to arraignment with L.A. County Superior Court Judge Jane Godfrey, who is expected to revoke her probation. The judge will set a full hearing on grounds she violated her probation in the jewelry theft case by breaking the law, the story adds.

The judge who heard Lohan’s jewelry theft case, Stephanie Sautner, reportedly will not be involved in the new case.
