"The Office" star Ellie Kemper will reunite with her former colleague Mindy Kaling on Kaling’s new Fox comedy, "The Mindy Project," reports TVLine.com.
It’s not clear who Kemper will play, but she will appear in a guest-starring role in the show’s Christmas episode, which will air Dec. 11.
Separately, "The Mindy Project" is shuffling its cast, with regular Amanda Setton leaving the show and Anna Camp promoted to recurring, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Camp co-starred in the pilot as Kaling’s best friend, while Setton portrayed a receptionist. Setton is said to be leaving for creative reasons, the piece adds.
The show is also casting a new recurring female character, a college friend of Mindy’s.
