Vermont ice cream maker Ben & Jerry’s will debut a new flavor inspired by the NBC comedy "30 Rock" on Thursday night, when the show winds up its seventh and final season, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Ben & Jerry’s is selling tickets to a viewing party at New York’s Latitude bar Thursday night, when the flavor will be unveiled. The ice cream maker is encouraging attendees to dress as their favorite characters. A winner will receive a year’s supply of ice cream and frozen yogurt.
This will mark the second Ben & Jerry’s ice cream associated with a "30 Rock" star. An old Alec Baldwin "Saturday Night Live" skit inspired a limited-edition ice cream flavor called "Schweddy Balls."
That ice cream flavor, however, attracted some protests, with One Million Moms calling it "vulgar" and "repulsive” and some stores refusing to carry it.
