In the “news that doesn’t matter but some people find interesting anyway” department, Today.com reports that the makers of the game Monopoly plan to scrap one of the game pieces — either the car, thimble, boot, dog, battleship, hat, iron or wheelbarrow.

The game is letting fans decide, via an online vote, which piece gets the ax. Reportedly, the wheelbarrow and hat are trailing in early voting.

The losing game piece will make way for a new one — reportedly a cat, diamond ring, guitar, helicopter or robot.
