One day after ABC News hired one of The New York Times’ best-known political correspondents, the network went back to the well. The New York Times’ Media Decoder reports that ABC News has hired New York Times national correspondent Susan Saulny.
The hire comes one day after word surfaced that ABC hired The Times’ Jeff Zeleny, as previously reported.
"Susan has spent the last 12 years with The New York Times covering national news and contributing to the paper’s digital video efforts,” Ben Sherwood, ABC News president, wrote in a memo.
Saulny, who will start at ABC next month, was previously a staff writer for The Washington Post.
