NBC Offers Job to Kiefer Sutherland — Does This Mean Fox’s ‘Touch’ Is Dead?

NBC has offered Kiefer Sutherland a starring role in a new project, raising questions about the future of Fox’s "Touch," a drama that stars the actor, reports EW.com’s Inside TV.

Sutherland has been offered a role on "The Black List," about the world’s most wanted criminal, who turns himself in on the condition he will work with a new FBI agent to catch all the criminals he has worked with, the story reports.

While the offer to play the lead role of the criminal is in second position, Fox probably isn’t pleased with the performance of "Touch," the article points out. The drama is averaging 2.7 million viewers in its Friday time slot, and earned only a 0.7 rating in adults 18 to 49 last week, the piece notes.

Fox will probably make a decision about the fate of "Touch" as the May upfront presentations draw closer, the report adds.

  1. Touch did not get the promotion to kick off its season that it should have. I think that Fox had already made up its mind. It is too bad as the show is something a little bit different from what is usually offered to viewers.
