You may have played it as a kid or with your own kids, and now it’s headed for television. A TV show is in the works based on the card game UNO, reports Deadline.com.
Mattel and The Gurin Company are working together to create "UNO: The Game Show," which will feature players matching colors, numbers and strategies to win a $100,000 jackpot during a half-hour daytime format, the story says.
The companies are also working on an hour-long prime-time version, which will boast a $1 million jackpot. UNO was developed in 1971 and became popular with families because its simple rules make it easy for children to learn.
