Syfy has renewed a reality series, setting a summer 2013 premiere for the show’s fifth season. B&C reports that the cable channel will bring back the prosthetic makeup competition show "Face Off."

Production is set to start next month.

"Face Off" is averaging 1.6 million viewers 18-49 in its fourth season, and 2.7 million total viewers in live +7, the story notes. The fourth-season finale will air March 26.
