One of the stars of the cult favorite "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" is joining a Syfy drama series. The Hollywood Reporter’s Live Feed reports that Anthony Head, who played Rupert Giles on ‘Buffy,” has been cast in a major recurring role on "Warehouse 13."

Head will appear in the last three episodes of the show’s season 4.5, playing the villain Paracelsus. Although the character’s name was given out, details are being kept quiet, the story says.

Head recently portrayed Uther Pendragon in "Merlin," which airs on Syfy in the U.S., and has been cast in the CW drama pilot "The Selection."
