Comedian Sarah Silverman is planning a TV project that has her following in the footsteps of fellow comedians Wanda Sykes and Louis C.K. The Los Angeles Times’ Show Tracker reports that Silverman will record her first HBO comedy special.
"Given HBO’s long history of comedy specials, it’s a little surprising that this will be Silverman’s first,” the story reports. “But it’s true: Though Silverman pops up on productions such as ‘Talking Dead’ and ‘Wreck-It Ralph,’ her last full-length comedy performance was the 2005 theatrical release ‘Sarah Silverman: Jesus Is Magic.’"
Silverman has appeared on other HBO comedy shows, too. She appeared on the network’s sketch comedy series "Mr. Show," did three episodes of "The Larry Sanders Show" and has been on "Real Time with Bill Maher."
