NBC Series to Recast Two Roles

An NBC series is recasting two roles. Deadline.com reports that the casting moves are being made on the newly picked-up comedy series "Undateable."

From Warner Bros. TV and Bill Lawrence’s Doozer Productions, the show will recast the role played by Briga Heelan, who stepped in at the last minute to replace Aly Michalka, who was originally cast. That recasting was expected since Heelan also plays the female lead in Lawrence’s TBS comedy "Ground Floor," which was also picked up to series. Her role was Maddie, a waitress who’s attracted to the wrong guys.

Matthew Wilkas is also leaving the project. He played Brett, the gay best friend of Justin, played by Brent Morin, who finds something wrong with every potential partner, the story says.
